Hip arthroscopy continues to be a growing area of research and clinical practice within orthopedic sports medicine. The number of hip arthroscopy cases performed has increased exponentially over the past 2 decades.1 While hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement as well as labral and intra-articular pathology has shown excellent outcomes,2, 3, 4 one area of continued debate and exploration is hip arthroscopy in the dysplastic and borderline dysplastic patient.
